Who am I?

Hi, I’m Joshua Perez-Rohde, but no one wants to say that mouthful all the time so just Josh is better. I’m a young designer from country Victoria, Australia making their first leap in the big wide world.

I’m walking contradiction that loves to record the world around them as accurately as possible and then scribble and paint all over it. Serious and Light-hearted, a Realist and a Dreamer, Logical and Empathetic. With me you know that you’ll get both points of view. And this contradictory nature is applied to my designs.

Design in all forms has been something I have had a keen interest in since I discovered that their was a way to more directly apply my artistic skills. Developing and shaping the imagery and aesthetics of the world around me. Influencing, amplifying and drawing in peoples feelings and interests. These are the things I love about design, the communication through imagery often times without a word ever needing to be used.

When I’m not doing the above I’m leaning into my bottled up chaotic nature and partaking in one of my other countless hobbies. Video gaming, reading, athletics, storytelling and feeding my insatiable appetite to learn, the list goes on.

This bottled up creativity is what i want to apply. And I’m ready and waiting to do so.
